Ilona Kuska-Żak

Legal counsel with more than 15 years of experience in the field of business cases and procedural practices. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and the University of Orleans (Master en Droit Prive), a member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Katowice. He specialises in civil and commercial law (especially in the field of capital markets law), corporate law and private equity investment, intellectual property law and e-commerce. For years, she has been involved in comprehensive investment processes, including venture and seed capital funds and Business Angels funds. He has extensive experience in creating and servicing legal venture and seed capital funds.

Bartosz Mazgaj

Investment Manager

He graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice in the field of Finance and Accounting, graduated in postgraduate studies from Business Valuation. A securities broker with the power to perform investment advisory activities. He has 10 years of experience working in the capital market and gained analytical experience while working in a brokerage house, i.a. as a securities broker in the Department of Investment Banking and in advisory firms. He has been responsible for offering financial instruments, making business plans and market reports, preparing financial forecasts and analysis, introducing financial instruments into public trading (WSE, NewConnect, Catalyst). He was responsible for preparing dozens of share and bond issues (covering real estate, finance, debt trading, clothing, environmental protection, computer science).

Agnieszka Jasińska

Strategy and Marketing

She built The Brand Project. Strategist, certified trainer and moderator of design thinking workshops. She participated in strategic and branding processes for many companies, including financial and insurance, HoReCa, IT, clothing and furniture. She initiates cultural and sport events (i.a. she is the founder of the Rossberg Gallery, organiser of fresh art festival in Katowice, co-organiser of Silesia Marathon).

She supports businesses and institutions in designing brands and building marketing and communication strategies. She helps to market new products and services. He has extensive experience in media relations activities and investor relations during IPOs.

Katarzyna Papież-Pawełczak

The Director of cooperation with scientific units in the scope of intellectual property rights management (IPRs). She has over 10 years of experience in venture capital investments and R&D project management. Expert in the field of commercialisation of R&D results, financing innovation and a transfer of technologies, as well as management of R&D and implementation projects.

Konrad Maciejewski

Entrepreneur and manager with 10 years of experience in managing Research and Development projects in pharmacy and medicine for the largest pharmaceutical companies and scientific units. He was the founder and later Chairman of the Board of BIOSCIENCE SA, a contract research and development company that has carried out more than 90 research projects involving more than 12,000 patients. A specialist in life-science, two-time winner of the European Medal, awarded in 2015 with the Golden Statuette of the Leader of Polish Business.

Robert Bieleń

Lawyer and a specialist in business financing. He has a 15-years experience in venture capital in investment banking. Robert has made more than 20 seed/venture capital investments. As a member of brokerage house team, he processed financing for small and medium-sized companies with a total value of more than PLN 250 million. Expert in capital market law, investment agreements and venture capital transactions. For 10 years, he has been actively supporting innovators – helping them to bring out the potential of projects, prepare R&D plans and commercialise their products.

Bartosz Zalewski

He graduated from the Faculty of Finance of the University of Economics in Cracow. His professional interests include venture capital and private equity investments, capital markets and accounting. He has been a part of the venture capital and corporate finance market for more than 16 years. He is a shareholder of public and non-public companies. He has carried out more than 50 investment and corporate advisory projects worth in total over EUR 60 million.

Jacek Murawski

He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics specialising in finance and accounting and took further studies in company value management and EMBA.

During his 30-year career, he held top positions in many companies. Between 1990 and 2001 he was responsible for finance at Bantex Poland, he was a financial controller and Member of the Board of Directors in Polish Telephone Books, chief accountant in Polkomtel, Director of financial instruments in Tchibo Warsaw. From 2001 to 2008, he was a member of the Board of Directors for Financial PTK Centertel (the operator of the Orange mobile network) and chairman of the board of Wirtualna Polska (the leading Polish internet portal) and V-ce President of Employers of Poland. In the following years, he became involved in investment and advisory activities in Poland and the Central European region as an Investment Partner in the MCI Fund (the leading Polish venture capital fund), making and supervising investments in Poland and the Czech Republic. He was also a vice president of at PGNiG. He believes in innovative startups with a positive “social impact” (including: life science, environmental protection, green energy production, etc.)

3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of conducting business communication, performance of the contract and/or taking the necessary action by the Administrator before the conclusion of the contract.
4. The recipient of your personal data will be the relevant persons, entities, offices, government algovernments and local authorities, as defined by the laws related to legal or financial services.
5. Your data may be shared with other entities entrusted to the Administrator’s service (accounting, legal services, etc.). The Controller of your personal data may transfer personal data to authorized entities only on the basis of legal provisions.
6. Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary for the expiry of claims of a civil law nature
7. You have the right to access your personal data, the right to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of such data – taking into account the restrictions resulting from the GDPR, in particular Article 17(3) of the GDPR.
8. Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country/international organisation.
9. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority when you consider that the processing of your personal data concerning is in breach of the rules.
10. The provision of personal data by you is a voluntary requirement for business communication, while in the case of conclusion and performance of the contract it is a statutory requirement. The consequence of not providing personal data will be the inability to conclude and perform the contract.
11. At any time you have the right to withdraw your consent, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
